I spend about five months a year in France on my barge "Phaedra". (That's a photo of her to the left.) We cruise the canals and rivers that go through Europe, from Holland to the Mediterranian. Most of my paintings of France are of the canals and the barges that travel on them...and yes, the canals really are that beautiful.
